ఓం ధాతవే ఉత్తమాయ నమః | ॐ धातवे उत्तमाय नमः | OM Dhātave uttamāya namaḥ
ధత్తే ఇతి ధాతుః ధరించునది ధాతువు; విశ్వమును ధరించు అనంత కూర్మాదులకును ధారకుడు (వారిని కూడ తన శక్తిచే నిలుపువాడు) కావున ఉత్తమమగు (ఉత్తముడగు) ధాతువు (ధారకుడు). లేదా ఎల్లవారిని విశేషరూపమున ధరించును - పోషించును కూడ.
Dhatte iti dhātuḥ One that supports is Dhātu. The ultimate support of everything. Or He, being Caitanya or Pure consciousness, is superior to all other Dhātus or substances. Or it can be interpreted as follows: He is Dhātu, because He bears everything and He is also Uttama, the greatest of all beings.
| स्वयम्भूश्शम्भुरादित्यः पुष्कराक्षो महास्वनः । |
| अनादिनिधनो धाता विधाता धातुरुत्तमः ॥ 5 ॥ |
| స్వయమ్భూశ్శమ్భురాదిత్యః పుష్కరాక్షో మహాస్వనః । |
| అనాదినిధనో ధాతా విధాతా ధాతురుత్తమః ॥ 5 ॥ |
| Svayambhūśśambhurādityaḥ puṣkarākṣo mahāsvanaḥ । |
| Anādinidhano dhātā vidhātā dhāturuttamaḥ ॥ 5 ॥ |
