ఓం వికర్త్రే నమః | ॐ विकर्त्रे नमः | OM Vikartre namaḥ
విచిత్రం భువనం యేన క్రియతే మాయయా సదా ।
స ఏవ భగవాన్ విష్ణుర్వికర్తేతి సమీర్యతే ॥
ఈతనిచే విచిత్రమూ, బహువిధమే అగు ప్రపంచము నిర్మించబడుచున్నది. వివిధ రూపమగు భువనమును నిర్మించునుగనుక విష్ణు భగవానునికి వికర్తా అను నామము.
Vicitraṃ bhuvanaṃ yena kriyate māyayā sadā,
Sa eva bhagavān viṣṇurvikarteti samīryate.
विचित्रं भुवनं येन क्रियते मायया सदा ।
स एव भगवान् विष्णुर्विकर्तेति समीर्यते ॥
The creator of the varied universe. He, Lord Viṣṇu Himself makes this vicitram or unique universe.
Śrīmad Bhāgavata Canto 7, Chapter 9
Tvamvā idaṃ sadasadīśa bhavāṃstato’nyo
Māyā yadātmaparabuddhiriyaṃ hyapārthā,
Yadyasya janma nidhanaṃ sthitirīkṣaṇaṃ ca
Tadvaitadeva vasukālavadaṣṭitarvoḥ. 31.
:: श्रीमद्भागवते सप्तमस्कन्धे नवमोऽध्यायः ::
त्वम्वा इदं सदसदीश भवांस्ततोऽन्यो
माया यदात्मपरबुद्धिरियं ह्यपार्था ।
यद्यस्य जन्म निधनं स्थितिरीक्षणं च
तद्वैतदेव वसुकालवदष्टितर्वोः ॥ ३१ ॥
My dear Lord, the entire cosmic creation is caused by You and the cosmic manifestation is an effect of Your energy. Although the entire cosmos is but You alone, You keep Yourself aloof from it. The conception of "mine and yours," is certainly a type of illusion because everything is an emanation from You and is therefore not different from You. Indeed, the cosmic manifestation is non-different from You, and the annihilation is also caused by You. This relationship between Your Lordship and the cosmos is illustrated by the example of the seed and the tree, or the subtle cause and the gross manifestation.
| उद्भवः क्षोभणो देवः श्रीगर्भः परमेश्वरः । |
| करणं कारणं कर्ता विकर्ता गहनो गुहः ॥ ४१ ॥ |
| ఉద్భవః క్షోభణో దేవః శ్రీగర్భః పరమేశ్వరః । |
| కరణం కారణం కర్తా వికర్తా గహనో గుహః ॥ ౪౧ ॥ |
| Udbhavaḥ kṣobhaṇo devaḥ śrīgarbhaḥ parameśvaraḥ । |
| Karaṇaṃ kāraṇaṃ kartā vikartā gahano guhaḥ ॥ 41 ॥ |
