ఓం గభస్తినేమయే నమః | ॐ गभस्तिनेमये नमः | OM Gabhastinemaye namaḥ
గభస్తిచక్రస్య మధ్యే స్థితస్సూర్యాత్మనా హరిః ।
గభస్తినేమిరిత్యుక్తో విద్వద్భిర్వేదపారగైః ॥
గభస్తులు అనగా కిరణములు. గభస్తి చక్రమునకు నేమివంటివాడుగనుక ఆ హరి గభస్తినేమి అని పిలువబడుతాడు. నేమి అనగా చక్రమధ్యమందలి దారుమయమగు చక్రావయవము లేదా ఇరుసు. కిరణములతో ఏర్పడిన చక్రమునకు నడుమ నేమివలె సూర్యరూపమున ఉన్నవాడు. సూర్యుడూ విష్ణుని విభూతియే కదా!
गभस्तिचक्रस्य मध्ये स्थितस्सूर्यात्मना हरिः ।
गभस्तिनेमिरित्युक्तो विद्वद्भिर्वेदपारगैः ॥
Gabhasticakrasya madhye sthitassūryātmanā hariḥ,
Gabhastinemirityukto vidvadbhirvedapāragaiḥ.
Gabhasti means brilliance. Nemi means axle of a wheel. Gabhastinemi means the axle of the wheel of rays or the One with brilliant circumference. Sun is the comparable axle around which or from which brilliant rays emanate from. Even the sun is eminence of Lord Viṣṇu!
| गभस्तिनेमिस्सत्त्वस्थस्सिंहो भूतमहेश्वरः । |
| आदिदेवो महादेवो देवेशो देवभृद्गुरुः ॥ ५२ ॥ |
| గభస్తినేమిస్సత్త్వస్థస్సింహో భూతమహేశ్వరః । |
| ఆదిదేవో మహాదేవో దేవేశో దేవభృద్గురుః ॥ 52 ॥ |
| Gabhastinemissattvasthassiṃho bhūtamaheśvaraḥ, |
| Ādidevo mahādevo deveśo devabhr̥dguruḥ ॥ 52 ॥ |
